Emasla Announces Fall Schedule for 2013

Aug. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- The Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio posted its new Fall Schedule, which will commence in September and end in December 2013.

Director of Emasla commented: “The Fall is fast approaching and we’d like to prep prospective students with the current schedule. This allows actors to plan around the times for immaculate organization. We’re looking forward to a new season of training for promising actors and actresses in the industry.”

The Meisner Training Program, an in demand acting technique in actors’ circles that was first developed by acclaimed actor and coach, Sandy Meisner. The class will extend to June 2014, with two sessions to choose from. According to the studio’s director, this will provide more flexibility for students. The course furthermore requires an official interview with the director, Elisabeth Mestnik. Tuition prices are posted on the site, and this course requires a non-refundable deposit of $395, with eight successive payments of $295.

The Advanced Scene Study To On-Camera will also commence in September, and it includes fourteen classes that are slated for Wednesday afternoons. Detailed times can be found on www.emasla.com. The course tuition is posted at $595, however students can choose half payments upfront to begin. Prerequisites for acceptance include an audition, and a $200 deposit for registration.

Novice actors may also partake in the acting foundation’s Basic Training Series in September through December, for a total of twelve classes on Thursday evenings. The cost of tuition, according to the website is $530.

The Elisabeth Mestnik Acting Studio has been a longstanding center of actors’ education for more than a decade. Elisabeth Mestnik was trained in New York City, and promises to teach the Meisner Technique the way Sanford Meisner taught it. In addition to Meisner training, several workshops are offered year round with special focus on on-camera scene study for beginner, intermediate and advanced level actors.
