April 24, 2012 - PRLog -- CreateWriteNow, an organization dedicated to personal journaling for health, first presented the 7 Days Self-Discovery Journaling Challenge in February of this year. An encore presentation of the highly successful online challenge is now scheduled for May 7-13.

Participants in the Challenge follow directions that are given in the workbook of the same name, published by CreateWriteNow. While the book may be purchased and the course self-administered at any time, this special Challenge week is a chance to do the process with a group of like-minded people. Participants have access to a forum board where they share ideas and experiences.

In addition, CreateWriteNow's creator, Mari L. McCarthy, is available to share one-on-one phone, email, or Skype conversations about your progress.

Topics covered during the seven days include a look at the importance of writing by hand, practical exercises to access inner states, methods for dealing with fear and for identifying beliefs, strengthening listening skills, and steps for establishing an ongoing journaling practice for self-awareness.

Personal growth and development can be hard work. Many people try to improve on any number of levels, but remain less than successful. With the added motivation of a group with similar goals, and a workbook that walks you methodically through the process, the challenge to improve is made much easier, and the chance of personal success is greater.

Mari L. McCarthy publishes a website (http://CreateWriteNow.com) devoted to journaling, as well as a series of ebooks – or e-workbooks, as she calls them – showing how to apply journal writing to a large variety of life's challenges. Topics have included ways in which journaling can be used in job searches, losing weight, overcoming writer's block, and a host of health and wellness issues; as well as guides to establishing a journaling habit, and using it to find peace of mind and body.
