Chesterford Research Park enhances on-site connectivity with installation of fibre network
High speed internet connectivity and associated solutions now live and available to all tenants
The installation of an on-site fibre network, which provides cost effective, unmetered, high speed internet connectivity and IP telephony as well as access to other hosted solutions is now complete and available to tenants. The internet services have been designed specifically to fit the requirements of the types of organisations based at Chesterford where fast and efficient exchange of information is critical. The new service provides the same upload and download bandwidth - the ideal choice for business use.
Backed by carrier-grade transit through Bridge Partners’ collaboration with Cogent, Goscomb and Telstra the connectivity services now available are reliable, robust and highly efficient with up to and over 1000Mbps of bandwidth available if required.
To date Cellcentric, Medivir, Isogenica, Knowledge Genes and Oxford Nanopore have already signed up to the service and it is expected that a number of other tenants will follow suit in the next few months.
Park Manager, Katherine Maguire commented of the service: “It has been a pleasure to work with Bridge Partners to bring these additional connectivity options to our tenants. By continually assessing and enhancing the technology options available to tenants we hope that we provide the ultimate in working environments – a pleasant and relaxing working atmosphere backed by the very latest technological solutions required by today’s R&D companies.”
