Aurion Learning develops Information Security E-learning programme for Scottish Water

April 23, 2012 - PRLog -- The e-learning programme has been developed for all staff at Scottish Water and is designed to help them get to grips with Scottish Water’s Information Security Policy Practices.

The online learning programme covers what information security means to Scottish Water, threats to information security, what resources are available to help Scottish Water staff in relation to information security, and where to find them.

Speaking about the project, Dr. Maureen Murphy, Managing Director of Aurion Learning said:

“Information Security is about people…..their lives and their livelihoods. We have developed this Information Security e-learning programme in partnership with Scottish Water to raise awareness that information security and data protection is everyone’s responsibility, and to encourage staff to think about the consequences of poor data management, both for themselves and for members of the public.”
