By: Aurion Learning The online learning programme covers what information security means to Scottish Water, threats to information security, what resources are available to help Scottish Water staff in relation to information security, and where to find them. Speaking about the project, Dr. Maureen Murphy, Managing Director of Aurion Learning said: “Information Security is about people…..their lives and their livelihoods. We have developed this Information Security e-learning programme in partnership with Scottish Water to raise awareness that information security and data protection is everyone’s responsibility, and to encourage staff to think about the consequences of poor data management, both for themselves and for members of the public.” Additional Information: Scottish Water is a publicly owned company, answerable to the Scottish Parliament and the people of Scotland. Scottish Water’s role is to bring clean, safe and high quality drinking water to 2.4 million households and 124,000 business premises across Scotland.
