Celebrate The Fab Four with a visit to Liverpool

Yes, it was on 18th August 1962 that four relatively unknown musicians took to a small stage and one of the most famous pop groups in the world was born. The Beatles – John, Paul, George and Ringo – went off to conquer the world after “headlining” at that dance organised by the local horticultural society. Their first official release in 1962 was Love Me Do and was followed by Please, Please Me and From Me To You. Beatlemania soon swept the globe went on to record a staggering 12 studio albums, 13 EPs and 22 singles from 1962 to 1970. It is estimated they sold more than one billion records worldwide.
