Training Top Priority for Seagate Inspections

April 18, 2012 - PRLog -- Ongoing education through workshops, seminars and in-field training has always been a priority for Seagate Inspections. Two new residential and commercial inspectors, Kip Roop and Rick Summers, recently experienced how extensive the training is.

“Before joining Seagate Inspections I owned a general contracting business for almost 20 years and thought I knew as much as anyone about construction and structures,” said Kip Roop, residential and commercial inspector at Seagate Inspections. “After spending just two months training with Jim Johnson, I realized I was about a 2 on the knowledge scale. I have learned so much in a very short amount of time and appreciate the time and resources that Jim and everyone at Seagate Inspections has provided.”

All Seagate Inspections inspectors are certified members of ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) and NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors).

“We believe that a commitment to training and continuing education is a good measure of an organization’s professionalism and service,” commented Jim Johnson, founder and owner of Seagate Inspections. “As a multiple-inspector company, our inspectors learn from each other,” he continued. “Every six weeks, our inspectors get together to review and share examples, insight, experiences and best practices.
