The M&A Advisor, renowned globally for its recognition and presentation of leading M&A, financing and turnaround professionals, created this recognition awards program to promote mentorship and professional development amongst the emerging business leaders. Those who are recognized have been chosen for their accomplishments and contribution to the industry from a pool of accomplished nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders.

George Ng was chosen as a 2012 40 Under 40 Award Winner. Mr. Ng is a Partner in the Business & Finance Group of Snell & Wilmer LLP. He has extensive domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, licensing and transactional experience. He also has extensive global experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical device matters.  He is a former national co-chair of the life sciences practice group of Gordon & Rees LLP.   In industry, Mr. Ng has held various senior management roles with multiple, publicly-traded, global biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies with oversight over legal, compliance and intellectual property functions. Through these roles, which included a stint as the Head of Legal of a publicly-traded, global pharmaceutical company, he has gained unique industry insight. In addition, Mr. Ng has represented companies, both as Chief IP Counsel, in-house, and in private practice, in all intellectual property matters. He was also the Chief Compliance Officer for a biopharmaceutical company where he oversaw the company’s compliance efforts across multiple disciplines. Mr. Ng received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame and his B.A.S. (dual degree) in biochemistry & economics from the University of California, Davis.

Joshua Schneiderman was chosen as a 2012 40 Under 40 Award Finalist. Mr. Schneiderman’s practice is focused in the area of business and finance. He represents private and public companies, issuers, underwriters and private investors in sophisticated corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, capital markets, franchising and general corporate governance matters. Mr. Schneiderman served as the Transactional Pro Bono Legal Services Coordinator at the Los Angeles office of his previous firm, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, and has represented various nonprofits. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University where he was a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and was the recipient of the Jerome Alpern Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Schneiderman received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
