NPE 2012: Star Prototype and JDL strike perfect deal

April 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Star Prototype has taken a significant step towards offering full online quoting for its rapid injection mold tooling and parts service by striking the “perfect” deal with Ontario-based software provider, JDL Technical Services.

The Chinese firm, which is owned by British businessman, Gordon Styles, struck the deal for JDL’s Perfect CalCard Mold and Part Quoting Software at NPE 2012 – the triennial event for The Plastics Industry Trade Association, which was held in Orlando, Florida from April 1st to 5th.

Perfect CalCard Mold, Tool and Part Quoting Software is professional, accurate and simple to use, and allows automatic calculation of all mold, tool and part costs. And when used with Magics CalCard® module, 3D data can be analyzed for undercuts, openings, draft angles and wall thickness. Even the parting line can be generated, to display core and cavity views, identifying critical areas for milling or EDM. These parameters can then transferred into Perfect CalCard for an even more accurate quote.
