April 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Breezi, a new website editor for designers offering ultra fine controls with no coding necessary, announces a promotion this week offering the hosted service free for those who sign up before April 30th, 2012, as part of its launch. Created by Freshout, recognized recently by TheNextWeb.com as one of the Bay Area’s top 10 digital agencies, Breezi lets designers easily create, style, and add content to get a website just the way they’d like, from one simple visual editor in the browser.

“We made Breezi for designers who are picky about visual aesthetics, but don't always want to code in order to create great looking websites,” says Chris Anderson, Co-founder of Breezi. “The thinking behind Breezi has always been to give designers a simple interface where they can create and design an amazing looking website quickly, from start to finish, with pixel-level control.”

The website creation and editing space has become fairly crowded with competitors, but Breezi aims to solely focus on satisfying the needs of designers, as there is a lack of effective tools for this market.

“There are two things that make Breezi very different from other website design tools,” states Anderson, drawing a clear distinction from competitors. “First, we respect the design process by giving a number of different grid-based wireframe options as starting points, as opposed to pre-designed templates that constrain and limit the creative process. Customizing a few things in a template is not designing a website. We simply give better tools and enable designers to get moving quickly in creating their ideal website.”

Although designing a website is no new concept, creating fully custom designs has traditionally required someone to write code. “The other big difference is that Breezi offers a great deal of granular design controls, without requiring any coding in CSS or html at all,” continues Anderson. “Not that there's anything wrong with coding, but in many cases a designer needs to move quickly, and coding can often slow the process down.”

With its launch and free promotional offer through April, Breezi aims to attract a broad base of designers and get early insights from users who share their feedback and explore the capabilities of creating a website on the platform.

“Our immediate plans following the launch are to add bulk style editing, expand the number of available starting points, and refine the interface and usability in a few key areas,” Anderson explains. “Beyond that, we have a long backlog of features and ideas on our roadmap. But right now we're most interested in hearing from designers who use Breezi, so that the next steps we take are directly informed by feedback we receive from the design community.”
