Colorado Springs' top chefs to meet in 2nd annual Chef Showdown, May 3

Fun, food-filled event to benefit Rocky Mountain Health Services' PACE program

April 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Colorado Springs, Colo. (April 10, 2012) – Rocky Mountain Health Care Services, a not-for-profit health benefits provider in Colorado for 30-years, is pleased to announce its second annual Chef Showdown on May 3. The food-filled festivities will take place from 6-9 PM at the Marriott Colorado Springs and are open to the public by reservation.
 
Working under the theme “Tried and True: Old versus New,” retired chefs will prepare their classic hor d’oeuvres and desserts and battle, head-to-head, against the contemporary treats prepared by the newer chefs. The evening’s featured culinary stars include:
 
Hank Trujillo (retired) - BROADMOOR
Nathan Saye (current) – MARRIOTT
Tyler Peoples (current) – BRIARHURST
Patrick Robinson (retired) – STEAKSMITH
 
The event is free to attend and benefits Rocky Mountain PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) - donations are encouraged.

PACE is a program of Rocky Mountain Health Care Services. The program works to help frail elderly people maintain their highest level of independence by developing programs for individuals with complex medical needs that require more intensive care coordination than traditional home and community-based programs.
