Former Illinois Bank Examiner Joins Scheffel & Company, PC

As a Senior Bank Examiner with the over thirty years with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations, Marsha’s extensive knowledge and reputation is a valuable resource for Scheffel.

Prior to joining The Scheffel Companies, Bunyan had a distinguished career as lead examiner on hundreds of financial institute examinations. Marsha has also been a speaker at Community Bankers Association compliance conferences.

Bunyan holds an MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking.  Marsha is also a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honorary business fraternity. Marsha’s certifications include:  Public Accountant (CPA), Bank Auditor (CBA), Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Internal Auditor (CIA).
