Butlers in the Buff run the mile with a difference for Sport Relief in Pontefract

March 25, 2012 - PRLog -- The UK’s original and favourite ‘male’ order company Butlers in the Buff (http://www.butlersinthebuff.co.uk), will be out in force in Pontefract on Sunday 25th March as they help raise money for Sport Relief with Butlers running in their trademark outfits, comprising of a white collar and bow tie, little white cuffs and an apron which traditionally doesn’t cover their bottoms kits.  However, black shorts will also be worn for the run!

This eye catching outfit should hopefully encourage ladies to donate more money for the cause as 10 clusters of butlers run the three and six mile courses across the country including Pontefract, Glasgow, Bristol, Milton Keynes, Portsmouth, Cardiff and London.

The toned torso of Castleford based Butler in the Buff, Luke Chambers, will be on display as he runs from Pontefract Rugby Club.Luke aims to raise eyebrows as well as money as his hunky body whizzes past.

Sports Relief is the sporting wing of Comic Relief which raises money to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world's poorest countries. From transforming the lives of people in the UK’s most disadvantaged communities, or those living with poor mental or physical health, to protecting street children and providing life-saving healthcare abroad.

The butlers are available for pre-race photos and interviews in their trademark kit and the company will also be donating a Butler in the Buff to be auctioned off for the cause.

Butlers in the Buff originated in Bristol ten years ago and now have over 300 butlers across the country and the franchises overseas in Florida, Vancouver and Australia.  The butlers are booked not only to serve drinks and nibbles at events such as hen parties, birthday parties and even divorce but they are there to host games and mingle with the guests making everyone go a little bit weak at the knees.  

Let’s hope this year’s Sports Relief Mile ‘in the buff’ makes people go weak at the purse strings and donate lots for such a great cause.
