ST. LOUIS CAB COMPANY GOING GREEN
St. Louis County and Yellow Cab Adds Prius to Fleet
St. Louis, MO, February 22, 2012: The city of St. Louis has acquired its first Toyota Prius taxi cab, proudly owned by St. Louis County and Yellow Cab. Widely known as a ‘green’ vehicle, the new Prius will boast the distinctive red and white color scheme of St. Louis County Cab.
As the largest, and one of the oldest taxi companies in the area, St. Louis County and Yellow Cab, has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to new and innovative ways of doing business. Their most recent venture in this category is the addition of a Toyota Prius to its fleet. With ever increasing fuel costs, the Prius is a smart investment for the St. Louis based company. Being an environmentally friendly vehicle, the Prius not only reduces fuel consumption but also emits a fraction of the carbon emissions of an ordinary sedan. These factors help to slash American oil consumption and air pollution, leading to a happier and healthier nation.
“Here at County Cab we believe in providing the highest level of customer service. It should be all about the customer. With the Prius in our fleet now, we’re doing our best not only to serve our customers but to improve the world in general,” company President Basil Rudawsky says.
Since 1935, St. Louis County and Yellow Cab has always focused on being the best taxi services provider. They have done this by consistently being at the forefront of technological innovation, from being the first to install two-way radios in its cabs to being the first to offer online and text message ordering services. They continue to serve the St. Louis area as the industry leader with a fleet of over 240 taxi cabs, offering a variety of different services, including 24/7 taxi service, airport pickup/drop-
