March 14, 2012 - PRLog -- On Friday March 9th, the Legislative Assembly of Ontario met to discuss and debate Ontario’s Feed-in-Tariff program. In response to the Progressive Conservative party, stating that the FIT program was “Job-killing”, the Premier detailed the 20,000 new job opportunities created since the introduction of the FIT program.

The Minister of Energy spoke of the program’s success, using KB Racking as an example of a company thriving under the Feed-in-Tariff and in turn tackling Ontario’s job crisis, “I would like to thank some of the phantoms in the province of Ontario for the investments they’re making and the jobs they’re producing […] I’d like to thank KB Racking”.

COO of KB Racking, Peter Aulich comments, “KB Racking has grown exponentially since it entered the renewable energy market in December 2010. We have tripled our employees in the past year, most of whom are recent graduates”. Since its inception KB Racking has not only contributed to Ontario’s job creation, it has furthered the development of renewable energy technologies, attracted investment and built a solid foundation for the province’s green economy. Additionally, KB Racking has been able to leverage its success in Canada to enter the solar mounting market in the United States. With more than a dozen projects completed in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York, KB Racking is contributing to manufacturing and engineering jobs in Ontario while strengthening the Province’s green technology profile across the world.
