March 14, 2012 - PRLog -- While other industries struggle, the healthcare industry is improving steadily.  In fact, the industry is set to grow 27% through 2014.  New wage and salary jobs are expected in the ballpark of 3.9 million.  Hospital settings are expected to grow 13%, while smaller settings are set to grow 69%.

To help meet demands, ADVANCE will be hosting a two-day online education fair to help anyone interested in pursuing a career or advancing in the healthcare industry.  The fair will be held on March 28-29 from 12:00pm-6:00pm ET on both days.  This free event is a great opportunity for healthcare professionals and high school students to gather information on how to advance or get their start in healthcare.  Fields that will be covered include: nursing, rehabilitation, imaging and radiation oncology, speech-language pathology, respiratory care and sleep medicine, medical laboratory, and health information.

On March 28, healthcare professionals are invited to visit the online exhibit hall, which will be packed with reps from schools that offer advanced degree programs.  Professionals can also learn how they can fulfill CE requirements by chatting with CE providers about their programs.  They can also attend free sessions on career advancement.  Healthcare professionals can sign up today at:

The next day, March 29, is devoted to high school students interested in pursuing a life in the healthcare industry after graduation.  Just a couple of clicks away, admissions officers from top schools offering Bachelor’s degrees, Associate’s degrees, diplomas and certifications will be ready to answer questions and share information.  There will also be a free, can’t-miss session on preparing for college.  Students ready to register can visit:

The online education fair is accessible from anywhere there is internet access.  To accommodate their busy schedules, attendees can sign in and out as many times as they need.  Not only does this event make it easy to chat with CE providers and reps from undergrad and advanced degree programs, but booths will also include multimedia presentations, prize drawings and downloadable information.  It has never been easier for professionals to advance their careers and for students to get on the right path to a promising career.
