Take A Risk....Do The Unexpected...I'm 4 U.D. are you 4 U.D.?

March 5, 2012 - PRLog -- I traveled to Los Angeles to meet up with the group U.D. I had to see what the hype was all about. The word on the street is that these college guys have mastered the art of hip hop and is spearheading a non-profit organization "I'm 4 U.D."

As I entered the recording studio operated and owned by U.D. I noticed it was not your typical weed smelling, liquor passing place of operation that is often stereo typed when you get a group of young rap artist together on some collaboration.  Instead, it was like walking into an establishment of a multi-platinum artist establishment.

I was greeted in the lobby by a lively crowd; confused a bit if I over looked any of the members of U.D. I was then greeted by an assistant who escorted me to the newly famed group. Rhawn B, T. Bailey, Wessy West, D. Real, KY; who are all solo artist with unique life styles and stories.

T. Bailey is a junior in college which he stated himself is an accomplishment. We sat with “T. Bailey” and asked him a few questions as to how he manages school and music. He stated, “school and music both correspond, I use school for a resource to help me attain knowledge and learn more so I can incorporate it in my music, and I use my music for a resource in college to network and meet with new people." Terran is definitely a people person, and quite the character. We asked him when he first started rapping, he says, “I didn’t really start taking rapping serious until 2009, I was always against it because I see everyone else trying to pursue a career in rapping and it never was a guarantee.

Rhawn B, admit that rapping is in his blood. Rhawn B.'s Mother MC Soula was a Female MC who was signed to the Warner Bros/Grand Jury label in the 1990s. She released a song "Soul Sista" off the We're All In The Same Gang album; video directed y Forrest Whittaker.
Rhawn is perusing an Audio Engineering Degree at the Los Angeles Film Institute.

U.D. continue to create buzz in the music scene..dropping mixtape after mixtape, ....full of skills and creativity; their debut released video self entitled "Uniquely Divided" has already received nearly 50,000 views within a week. It's no wonder you can catch them live on stage with legendary rappers such as A Tribe Called Quest very own Phife Dawg at the Roxy 4/27/12.


U.D. are on the rise, having performed with YG, Mack 10, Lloyd Banks; U.D. numbers continue to rise.
