Idea Rebel And The PGA Gold Tour Have Done It Again

Feb. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Vancouver, BC – Digital marketing agency, Idea Rebel, has partnered with PGA Tour on the 2012 Matchups Game on Facebook and Mobile. This marks the second consecutive season that Idea Rebel and the PGA Tour have partnered on the social game experience that brings golf fans together from all around the world.
The 2011 game was a great success.  It featured head to head weekly matchups between some of the games’ best players, where users would make their selections via Facebook each week throughout the PGA Tour season.
The 2012 Game is even better!  Idea Rebel has added the ability to make picks via mobile devices, allowing users to make their picks on the go.  Users also now have the ability to create custom mini tournaments, where they can compete with friends and colleagues of their choice.  In addition to the extra features, we’ve redesigned the look and feel to make the experience of making picks, creating groups and inviting friends even simpler and more engaging.
New this year is a Grand Prize drawing that will award one lucky fan a shopping spree of $1,500 at Shop.PGATOUR.COM. Fans enter the Grand Prize drawing based on in-game achievements such as getting perfect picks in a week playing five weeks in a row, referring friends to play, and reaching certain point goals. Additional weekly and season-long prizes will be awarded. No purchase is necessary to play.
