Running wild together, they become intimate during their summer of love. Natasha becomes pregnant and marries Nick. She is forced to leave her family behind when Nick’s family leaves for America to seek a better life. They arrive in England to the news of the Titanic sinking. Natasha is heavy with child and very frightened. Though she wants to go home to her mother, she continues on to America.

Natasha’s baby is born at sea. When Nick runs into trouble holding down a job in New York, and is eventually murdered, Natasha finds herself running from her husband’s killers. The young mother discovers that eventually you must look inside yourself for the courage to face your fears. Will Natasha find justice?
