| Browne Jacobson set to advise Welsh Government on environmental issuesLaw firm Browne Jacobson has been re-appointed to a prestigious legal panel advising the Welsh Government on environmental issues.
By: Lakhbir Rakar The four year panel appointment also involves acting as advisers to a number of Welsh Government sponsored bodies including the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales and the Countryside Council for Wales. Browne Jacobson has a long established environmental law practice and a national reputation for its nature conservation work. In addition to acting for corporate clients, the firm has been advising the Countryside Council for Wales for 12 years, Natural England for more than 20 years and have more recently been appointed to advise the Environment Agency. Over the past year the firm has advised and represented clients on several high profile environmental matters including a first judicial review on behalf of the newly established Marine Management Organisation as well as a series of high profile judicial reviews for Natural England.
