International School Of Business & Media felicitated at ‘The Africa India Partnership Summit’

Feb. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Mauritius, February 2011: Adding a new dimension to the rich historical past and existing regional cooperation between India and Africa, the Africa India Partnership Summit 2011 was recently held in Mauritius. Dr.Pramod Kumar, President, International School of Business and Media was awarded with the title of “Edupreneur of the Year” at Le Matinal, Educational Excellence Awards during the Africa-India Partnership Summit.

Besides, International School of Business and Media was also honored with the prestigious “B School Leadership Award”. The award was presented to Dr.Pramod Kumar by the Hon. Dr. David R. Namwandi, Deputy Minister of Education, Republic of Namibia.

The Le Matinal Educational Excellence Award Ceremony at the summit was organized to enable an exchange of knowledge and experiences, and held at the Sugar beach Resorts, Mauritius. The summit played an important role in recognizing and awarding achievers and leaders who have demonstrated leadership capabilities in creating business opportunities, enabling growth and development.

The award felicitated Dr. Pramod Kumar for his exemplary leadership, academic innovation and his significant contribution towards the growth of education sector in India. Bringing international recognition to the institute, the ceremony honored ISB&M as an emerging B School for excellence in field of education.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr.Pramod Kumar, President, International School Of Business and Media said “It is a great feeling and acknowledgement to achieve distinction among institutions at International level. It helps us to understand the education system and benchmark ourselves internationally. ISB&M will continue to do better.’ ”

The ceremony was held in the presence of some of the imminent leaders namely Prof. Malegapuru W. Makgoba, Vice Chancellor & Principal, University of Kwazulu-Natal; Hon. Dr. David R. Namwandi Deputy Minister, Republic of Namibia; Anil Naronha, Executive Vice President H R ,Wadhwan Holdings; Sanjay Muthal, Managing Director, Nugrid Consulting; Rre Elijah Litheks ,Chief Executive Officer, IPM Institute; Saugata Mitra Chief Peoples Officer & Global Head HR,Mother Dairy.

Other recipients honored for their respective contribution to education were Kenya’s MOI University ;the University of Mauritius, Indira Group of Institutes , India; the Eastern Institute for Integrated Learning & Management and the Agostinho Neto University. XIME and IPM Group were among other universities that attended the award ceremony.
Strengthening the partnership between India and Africa for academic advancement, the award ceremony remained the highlight of the Africa India Partnership Summit.
