Connect Your Home and Family First Public Meeting Tuesday, February 21

MONTEREY, CALIF (January 24, 2012) – The Monterey County Business Council, an alliance of business executives and professionals providing collaborative leadership to help people from business, government, education, and the community work together on countywide issues, announced today they are partnering with Monterey County Office of Education, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County, Loaves, Fishes & Computers and several other community partners to introduce Comcast's Internet Essentials Program.

This program places internet services into the homes of families with school-aged children that qualify for free or reduced lunches under the National School Lunch Program. Qualified families will receive internet access for $9.95 per month for the duration of their child’s K-12 education. The first public informational meeting will be held:
