Feb. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- LUDECA, INC. proudly introduces the first wireless module for laser alignment certified for use in explosive environments.  This unique wireless module operates with the OPTALIGN smart EX or ROTALIGN smart EX laser shaft alignment systems by PRUEFTECHNIK. Only LUDECA and Prueftechnik offer this technologically advanced capability for machinery alignment in explosive atmospheres common in petrochemical, mining, and other industries.

Measurement data is transferred between the measurement sensor and the alignment computer using the ATEX/IECEx certified EX RF module — making alignment jobs easier and more convenient without compromising operator safety.

All components comply with the ATEX and IECEx directives for Class II 2 G Ex ib [ib] IIC T4, Zone 1.
