iPlay America and Encore Event Center Appoints Lina Llona as Director of Catering

Feb. 7, 2012 - PRLog -- Freehold, N.J. (February 7, 2012) – iPlay America and Encore Event Center, a one-of-a-kind indoor theme park and entertainment complex located in Freehold, N.J., today announced the appointment of Lina Llona as Director of Catering.

With over 25 years of experience in the catering industry, Llona will play an essential role at iPlay America and Encore Event Center.  In her new role she will be responsible for overseeing staff and working closely with guests by participating in all stages of planning special events such as proms, weddings, dances, conferences, and exhibitions.

“Lina is a respected and talented veteran in the industry who brings a solid history of hospitality and excellence to iPlay America and Encore Event Center,” stated Gary Foley, Chief Operating Officer. “Her experience and passion will enable our facility to turn all of our guests’ events into unique, memorable and special occasions. We are very excited to have such talent like hers on our team and look forward to hosting many successful celebrations and gatherings at our facility under her management.”

Prior to joining iPlay America and Encore Event Center, Llona served as Director of Catering at the Doubletree Hotel in Princeton, N.J. for two and a half years.  Additionally, she spent 12 years working with the Forsgate County Club where she served as Director of Catering.

Originally from Hamilton, N.J., Llona is very involved in her community. Recently selected as the chairwoman, she has been a member of the Middlesex Chamber of Commerce for the past 15 years and served on the executive board for the past 10 years. In addition she is a member of the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern New Jersey and is on the work force investment board for Middlesex County.
