Follow on Google News | Widget Logic Visual Plugin Released for WordPressWidget Logic Visual is a plugin for WordPress allowing you to control display of widgets to specific web pages within your website without and template or coding knowledge.
By: JTPratt Media The original Widget Logic plugin was released a few years back, which allowed you (once installed and activated) to control the display of widgets within your WordPress website to specific pages or sections of your website. It provided an input box at the bottom of each widget where you would enter some template PHP code (conditional tags), which would restrict that widgets to those pages (listed in the code). Before Widget Logic you would have to code this directly into your WordPress theme as a developer. The new and improved "Widget Logic Visual" plugin allows you to restrict and limit the view of widgets in your WP website "visual style" or just simple point and click. It's never been easier to make a widget appear on just your "about" page, or all category pages. You can even add rules to make a widget appear on all pages sitewide "except the homepage" (or except any page or section of pages). You can even mix and match multiple rules per widget. Such as your homepage, the "tutorial" category page, and all tag pages, etc. The plugin was created for non-technical people to be able to restrict the view and display of WordPress widgets without having to know any template or PHP code at all. The plugin is very intuitive any easy to use. You can download and install Widget Logic Visual by going to 'Plugins->Add New" from your dashboard and searching for "widget logic visual". You can also visit the official Widget Logic Visual page and watch the short tutorial video or view screenshots of how the plugin works here: http://wordpress.org/ End
