New York Cosmetic Dental Practice Opens 2nd Location In Stamford, Ct

Jan. 31, 2012 - PRLog -- Stamford, CT - Dr. Amul G. Patel, DDS, PC is proud to announce the opening of a second location for his long-time general and cosmetic dentistry practice at 107 Glenbrook Road in Stamford, CT.  

Dr. Patel has run a well-known practice in Mt. Vernon, NY for over 17 years and chose to purchase the entire building at 107 Glenbrook for its premier downtown location.  

“Stamford was an appealing place for me to open my second office,” he says.  “It’s not just a great place to work, it’s also an exciting and expanding community with a lot of growth potential and a good mix of people.”  

Dr. Patel shares his new building with a group of both mainstream and alternative healthcare practitioners including two chiropractors, two acupuncturists, a gynecologist and a physical therapist.

Over the past twenty years all dentistry has become cosmetic dentistry with the procedures dentists perform not only having to function well, but look good too, according to a study on new trends in cosmetic dentistry at www.realself.com   Dr. Patel has seen this shift in focus in his own practice over the almost two decades he has been in business.  

“Over the years we have evolved into more of a cosmetic set-up – we’ve shifted from “drill and fill” to taking care of a full scope of general and cosmetic dentistry,” he explains.  

Today Dr. Patel’s services range from porcelain veneers to dental implants, and crowns and bridges to non-surgical root canals.  He can correct a wide variety of so-called permanent cosmetic dental problems, in order to literally redesign a smile.

”A lot of time you need prep work before the best products can work,” he says, adding that many cosmetic dentists will not do braces.  Patel himself will do braces, as well as extractions and periodontal surgeries.

“The unique thing about my practice is that I will do most of the work in office myself,”  he adds.

Dr. Patel looks forward to working within the Stamford community and even partnering with some of his fellow healthcare practitioners at the new location, in order to offer patients a more comprehensive service.
