Jan. 30, 2012 - PRLog -- When an established player changes team in the major leagues, his former club usually holds off handing out his uniform number for at least one year in a sign of respect.

The Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters went one step further to honor righthander Yu Darvish, who has signed with the Texas Rangers. The Fighters will not assign the dormitory room that Darvish used during pre-season training in Kamagaya.
