Cascade reports on the falling inflation in the UK.

Over the past few years we’ve all been painfully aware that we’ve been in a recession. We’ve heard statements such as ‘double dip recession and in the finance section of the paper, all the reports seem to be about the doom and gloom of the world’s economy.
More recently, we’ve had the Greek crisis, the Euro crisis and now we are told that the UK debt has gone over the 1 trillion mark.
This means that for the average family household, there has been quite a sufficiant decline in the household finances and what the family has left after bill and amenities,to spend on luxuries.  The whole of the UK appears to be struggling, with household names such as Peacocks and La Senza recently going into administration.
There may finally be some good news on the horizon.  It has been reported that inflation is falling and has had quite a considerable drop in the last few months of 2011. This will ease the pressure that British families have faced with their finances as the rising price of food, energy and petrol prices finally slow down.
The most encouraging outcome of this story appears to be the positivity that people feel after hearing this story. People becoming aware of this and this means they feel less pessimistic about the future which is good news especially in January arguably the gloomiest month.
According to reports, geographically speaking, people in the southwest, which is where Cascade is based, are the least pessimistic which is great news for Cascades positive attitude!
A spokesperson for Cascade states
“All in all this report means that people are using their savings less and feeling more positive about their finances as the squeeze they have on their disposable cash is reduced. Which is obviously is very good news in a time where good financial news is sparse.”
