KB   Good For you. Well, I welcome you to the show. I’m really really excited about this one. Because I am definitely in that newbie trading category and I’m going to play a ginipig tonight and probably have ask tons and tons of questions   And so, my first question to you would be I know you offered courses – a small individual courses and you are doing some up in Canada in the next few weeks and what I really really was interested in when we talked about the way that you teach trading is you, because I come from personal development background, is you really teach the psychology of trading as well as the nuances of very left bring technical trading. Correct?
Joel Wissing Money Maker Edge TRADER   That’s true. What I found is this, basically, the traders as well as people who are in any type of relationship have about 5 core competencies which they have to build in order to consistently make money. Like you, you have the first competency of a trader that is courage.
KB   Thank you.
Joel Wissing Money Maker Edge TRADER    Yes.. The first competency is courage because you gotta be able to risk a little bit in order to find out what you like to do and with trading it’s the same way. You basically have to have courage to start trading. How you go about it, is what makes the difference.
KB   OK. And the other four competencies. Can you share those?
JW   Yes I can. The next competency is forgiveness. Basically, we found that the traders who have enough courage go often and do thing and then guess what we are gonna make mistakes. We are gonna lose money or we are gonna spend money - Learning this, learning that and trying to figure out our road. And if we can’t forgive ourselves for the mistakes we make, we are not gonna be able to get to the second and third competencies. We’d be stuck in the cycle of taking risks and being pretty pissed off of the ones we have taken. So forgiveness is the next competency. If we can get forgiveness, basically, the willingness to risk, make mistakes and recover quickly so that we move on to the next one. Then we start building trust. That’s our third competency. Once we start building trust in what we can do and we can quickly for instance take a risk and make a mistake or succeed, we build trust in ourselves which gives us self-esteem. This is the fourth competency of a trader.
KB   It’s self-esteem.
Joel Wissing Money Maker Edge TRADER   The third is self-esteem. I’m sorry, the third is trust and fourth is self-esteem and when once you’ve these combined, what happens is you start getting consistent and viable results in the work you do and this creates self-confidence which is your mastery. And basically mastery is when you can do more with less. So, these are the five competencies that we build to become a master trader or someone who you can consistently make money in the market place.
