The 8th Annual Make A Difference Foundation, Inc. Charity Golf Tournament

Jan. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- Suwanee, GA (January 26, 2012) -- Make A Difference Foundation, Inc (MADF), www.madf.org, announces its Eighth Annual MADF and G. Wynn Invitational, Charity Golf Tournament, to be held on Saturday May 26 2012 at the Stone Mountain Golf Club, Stone Mountain Park, 1145 Stonewall Jackson Drive, Stone Mountain, Georgia.  Proceeds from this event benefit the Charlotte Lemons Annual Student Scholarship (C.L.A.S.S.) Award.  

Through the C.L.A.S.S. Fund, MADF awards $1000 educational scholarships to graduating high school seniors throughout the state of Georgia and Florida.  MADF strongly believes that providing financial assistance for education is a great way to truly make a difference in our communities and ultimately our nation. The scholarship is intended to give students in need of financial assistance the opportunity to further their education at a two or four year college and/or technical institution.  Since 2004, MADF has awarded over $40,000 in C.L.A.S.S. Awards.    

The tournament format is “Best Ball” and features a continental breakfast, separate men and women flights, buffet lunch, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, a silent auction, raffles, and numerous hole in one contest; corporate sponsorship opportunities are also available.  Entry fees are $100 per player and/or $360 per foursome.  You can also take advantage of our Early Bird Special, $90 per player and/or $325 per foursome, which ends April 1 2012.  Registration begins promptly at 7:00 am with an 8:00 am shotgun start.  For additional information, as well as, online registration, please visit http://www.madf.org.
