Furthermore, Greenpeace says there are alternatives to PVC, like PU, that industries can use that are more environmentally friendly. Some, however, assert that PVC is perfectly safe and no real proof has been demonstrated regarding its detrimental effects. “We are quite aware of the PVC controversy and have chosen to manufacture most of our tables with PU Leather,” says Buechler.
