Neal Communities Helps Sponsor Manatee County Fair -- Rock-It the Robot Returns to the Midway

This year, the home builder is sponsoring the ever-popular Rock-It the Robot. The 9 foot tall automation is a favorite of children and adults of all ages. The Fair, which is currently running, attracts thousands of visitors every year. The theme for 2012 is “A Star Spangled Year”

“Rock-It is a hit this year,” said Fair Manager, Dan West. “He’s like the Pied Piper of the Midway and attracts a crowd wherever he goes.” Rock-It’s engaging personality and quick wit enable him to easily interact with fair-goers.

Rock-It is remarkably agile for a robot his size. He walks, dances, signs autographs, poses for photos, and rides a large scooter. He is part of the entire fair and can be spotted wandering through the grounds, always willing to stop for a chat or an impromptu dance.
