National to Expand Operations with the Addition of 14 New Rigs

Jan. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Expanding operations across the Western United States, National EWP has ordered an additional 14 drill rigs to enhance the company’s fleet in 2012.  With this latest acquisition, National will have a total 38 core and reverse circulation rigs.

The new rigs include four track mounted Schramm T450GT Crawlers; two truck mounted SchrammT130XDs; one truck mounted Schramm T200XD; three Atlas-Copco CS14 Crawlers; two truck mounted Atlas Copco CT20s, and two truck mounted Atlas-Copco CT14s.
 
According to Jeff Morgan, president of National, the company’s expansion plan is based upon current long-term contracts as well as the anticipated increase in activity in the coming year.
