The Bra Recyclers CEO and Founder, Elaine Birks-Mitchell, stated, “For women living in poverty, having a clean, properly fitting bra is not high on the priority list. Other needs, like food, shelter, and safety take precedent. However, through recycled bras, we are able to provide support and encouragement to women during their darkest hours. Our service provides women with the self-esteem and confidence to help them overcome crisis and achieve self-sufficency” Rise Again Outreach provides a number of services through its active ministries. The “Mobile Pantry” program brings assistance to struggling neighborhoods in the form of clothing, non-perishable food and personal care items.
