Open Source DAM Software Phraseanet Major Upgrade 3.5 Released

Jan. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- The latest release includes an API for developers but also a "Bridge" allowing to publish digital assets to Flickr, Dailymotion and Youtube, and many other enhancements.

This release is the third major upgrade since Phraseanet switched to Open Source. Before 2010, Phraseanet used to be a licensed product. Since then, it is distributed as an Open Source product under GNU GPL 3.
There is no basic or professional edition with reduced or extended features: All companies may download, use the professional DAM for free and access all Phraseanet features including the thesaurus, detailed statistics reports and the administration interface to manage users and rights.
Alchemy offers a range of support packages, training, hosting and many more services to help customers with their DAM projects to make them easier and efficiently to manage.

Phraseanet 3.5 is available for immediate download either on Github : https://github.com/alchemy-fr/Phraseanet/ or on Sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/phraseanet/
