Jan. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- On December 31, 2011, the Dayton, Ohio criminal defense firm Gounaris Abboud, Co., LPA will be merging with new attorney Jeremiah Denslow, and as of January 1, 2012, the firm will be operating as “Gounaris Denslow Abboud, Co., LPA.

The firm is excited to welcome Dayton criminal defense attorney Jeremiah Denslow to the team. Mr. Denslow, an accomplished defense lawyer in his own right brings years of trial and litigation experience to the table. As a longtime resident of the greater Dayton area, he graduated from the University Of Cincinnati College Of Law in 2001, where he was selected to serve as on the Moot Court Team and he participated in the Judicial Extern Program.

Prior to that, Jeremiah graduated from the Bowling Green State University in 1997, where he accomplished academic excellence while he devoted himself to the community. During which time he was on the Dean’s list and he participated in numerous extracurricular activities.

Upon getting his law degree, Denslow began his early career working for the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, where he represented the residents of Ohio State. As an assistant prosecuting attorney, he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in how the criminal justice system as it pertained to juvenile delinquency, child protection, and the most serious violent felonies.

During his career as a prosecutor, he litigated a number of jury trials and he gained an enormous amount of experience in all aspects of courtroom procedure. Mr. Denslow is currently a member of the Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and he regularly trains on various defense tactics in order to stay abreast of new legal developments. He devotes many hours to continuing legal education that focuses on criminal defense so he can better serve his clients who are facing criminal accusations.

Attorney Jeremiah Denslow is a member of the Dayton and State of Ohio Bar Association, and he is also a member of the Warren and Green County Bar Associations.
