Ava Roosevelt's The Racing Heart Private BookSigning Draws Over 200 Guests

Dec. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- Palm Beach, Fla (December 14, 2011) – Over 200 guests enjoyed a private book signing for The Racing Heart by Ava Roosevelt introduced at Badgley Mischka’s Palm Beach store on Tuesday, December 13th.
Special highlights of the evening included a guest appearance by American Le Mans series professional racing driver Guy Cosmo and his electrifying Tequila Patrón FerrariF430GT that Cosmo raced during the 2010 American Le Mans series.  The car, propped outside of the Worth Avenue boutique was fabulously attired with models and set the stage for the event.  
Twenty percent of the sales from The Racing Heart and Badgley Mischka will benefit The Sweets Foundation—a Florida registered 501 C(3). The mission of the organization is to help local children in need and to assist local non-profits in the community. (www.sweetsfoundation.com)
As guests queued up to purchase the much-anticipated book and receive an autographed photograph by Guy Cosmo author Ava Roosevelt said, “I am thrilled with the turnout! Ava Roosevelt, widow of William Donner Roosevelt, FDR’s grandson, is a former columnist and feature writer for the Palm Beach Journal and also Cavallino Magazine specializing in financial and motor racing matters.
