Lakshy Initiates ISO 27001 Consulting project with Red Sea Gateway Terminal, Jeddah , Saudi Arabia

Dec. 14, 2011 - PRLog -- Red Sea Gateway Terminal (RSGT) is the third and newest container terminal at Jeddah Islamic port (JIP), the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's most significant port. Located at the northern end the Saudi Riyal Greenfield container-terminal, it signals the start of a new era for JIP as a regional container hub. With a view to better their organisation by setting up a Quality Management System, they contacted Lakshy Management Consultant Pvt. Ltd with their expertise in ISO 9001 to implement the quality management system.

RSGT promises operational efficiency, optimal cargo movement and increased capacity , which adds to the existing port another four berths, serviced by best-in-class port equipment and technology, as well as a dedicated deep-water channel able to accommodate the next generation containerships 13,000 TEU+ used solely by vessels calling at the world class terminal.

Together with Tusdeer, the adjacent Bonded & Re-export zone, this RSGT will create an integrated logistics hub for the Red Sea.
