Dec. 12, 2011 - PRLog -- Refresh PR will be launching Saint-Gobain Glass’ next generation of energy saving glass, PLANITHERM, to homeowners all over the UK. “We’ll be letting consumers know just how much money they can save on their energy bills by installing the right windows and our work will build on the TV advertising campaign that’s been running since May,” explains Refresh PR’s Laura Mashiter. “In most cases, savings can be as much as 28% or in real terms, £376 per home per year  .  We know how important it is for brands like PLANITHERM to demonstrate how they can make a genuine, positive difference to people’s everyday lives – this is where we come in.”

PLANITHERM has a special coating that draws in heat and light from outside, and it reflects radiated heat that’s already inside back into a room, rather than allowing it to escape out of the windows. It can be fitted with any type of window, including sash windows in period properties – and more information can be found at www.planitherm.com.  Refresh PR will work closely alongside Rare Creative Group, the award winning marketing agency for PLANITHERM, to deliver an integrated campaign comprising national, broadcast and regional on and offline activity that centres on Rare Creative Group’s ‘Pam & Fern’ characters from the TV adverts.

Complementing Refresh PR’s new client, Spectus Window Systems has signed a new contract following a successful year working together. Spectus has broadened Refresh PR’s remit, and the consultancy will now be working across multiple distribution channels to assist in bringing the Spectus name back to the forefront as the natural choice for windows and doors.

Joanna Plane, Spectus marketing manager, comments: “Our industry requires constant innovation and new ideas and Refresh PR’s strategies always bring something new to the table to ensure Spectus has industry standout.  The new remit gives great scope for Refresh PR to further demonstrate its expertise and I’m looking forward to the PR team helping Spectus punch above its weight in 2012 and beyond.”

Laura concludes: “Saint-Gobain Glass and Spectus Window Systems are enabling us to get back to our roots in the building and construction industry; it’s an area we’re really passionate about. It’s a huge compliment that Spectus has re-signed with us and extended our remit, and we’re looking forward to wowing Saint-Gobain Glass with our results too!”
