Maritime Business College Teaching Halifax Web Design

Dec. 11, 2011 - PRLog -- Students enrolled in the small business program at the Maritime Business College have successfully completed their Halifax web design course. This the first session in which web design has been offered as a separate class in the program. This indicates MBC’s dedication to offering their students the best education in areas that pertain to their small business success.

Students enrolled in the small business course at MBC learned about the theories of Halifax web design and then created their own web sites. Sites were created on the popular WordPress platform, and students were educated about why WordPress is such a functional and performing platform for websites.

Many of the students are not ready yet to reveal their websites, but some students’ websites are already live on the Internet. Natural Harmonics, for example, has customized a WordPress template to reflect their brand and unique services.

The Maritime Business College, which has been providing local education for more than 100 years, is located at 145 Ochterloney Street in Dartmouth.
