Author Claudette Milner will release “The Rejuvenation of the Church” fall 2012

God is ready to bring resurgence to the church and the foundation will be built on his word and by the younger generation. It is time to bring his lost sheep back into the fold. The devil has attacked this generation because he knows their power to reclaim this world for God.
Many of them are dealing with alcoholism, drugs, sexual, physical and mental abuse, suicide, bullying and other maladies. Some are suffering from depression, isolation, homelessness, and low self-esteem. 35% and greater are undereducated and many are filling jail cells.

There are many youth workers attacking the problem but many are ignoring the problems that our youth are faced with on a daily basis.  A few of these children are there only in body. Their mind is already on other things outside the will of God.

This guide will be for churches that have the willingness to meet God’s children where they are because God has ordained a purpose for each of his children. We must be bold in ministering to the homeless, children that work the street, children that are in jail, children that drop out of school, children that have illnesses, children that are in abusive homes, children that are alcoholics, children being sexually abused. The devil has no borders. He has no walls. He will go anywhere to kill and destroy our children.

Every church does not have the resources to set up counseling centers, or homeless shelters within their walls but every church is able to set up a network with local agencies and shelters to provide Christian counseling and the word of God.

It is time for God’s people to reclaim this generation for God has plans for them to lead and minister to his people.  The plan begins with us.

I will begin to write in January after 21 days of fasting and prayer. My research will take me within the walls of the church as I begin to interview pastors and youth ministers. I will go outside the borders of the church to interview individuals that work with children in crisis in order to set up a networking system in my local area.

God has a plan and I hope you will be a part of it. My deadline to submit a completed manuscript is June 1, 2012.
