Dec. 6, 2011 - PRLog -- Managing Director, Chris Naylor, is feeling a sense of relief following Kay’s plea in Chester Crown Court on Friday December 3rd 2011. “Myself, my family, our staff, guests and clients can now move forward. Onwards and upwards and business as usual has been very much our mottos since the day after the arson attack and it is now even more possible without the cause lingering in the back of our minds. Many of the staff are particularly thankful that they don’t have to go through the process of providing evidence at a gruelling and emotional court case. We could be telling a very different story today if it wasn’t for the three young men who risked their lives to evacuate the entire building, thank you again to Paul Heaney, Daniel Naylor and Simon Oxley for their life saving actions, I know this news will be particularly welcome by them. We can now concentrate on the huge relaunch party we are planning in February and the reopening of 4 of the damaged bedrooms, the Long Gallery bar and Library function room this Friday (9th December 2011). The £6 million insurance money has been instrumental in assisting the speed and quality of the rebuilding works – over £3million went on building costs alone - I’d like to say a special thanks to RSA for being so helpful throughout this process.”
The addition of the finished bedrooms, this Friday, will mean the hotel can host more leisure guests as well as allowing evening weddings and functions (numbers permitting)  to move back inside the Castle.
The Castle’s largest function room, the Drawing Room – where the fire was initially started, and remaining 10 bedrooms will be relaunched in February next year with a huge celebration planned with celebrity acts and attendees.
Chris Naylor encourages the public to visit the Castle to see how little disturbance the building work is causing, “We are rebuilding our business step by step, support from our guests and community is vital and we encourage everyone to visit the Castle for lunch, dinner, a spa treatment and take advantage of all that we have to offer.”
Photo opportunities of the restored bedrooms and function areas are available.
