Oxford Learning Offers Halifax Holiday Day Camps during Christmas Break

Dec. 4, 2011 - PRLog -- During the week of December 19-23, Oxford Learning will be offering Halifax holiday day camps for parents who need childcare for their children during that week of Christmas break. The camp will be run at Oxford Learning Halifax and Oxford Learning Bedford locations based on availability.

According to owner and centre director Lorelei Burgess, “So many parents are working or still need to finish up their holiday shopping the week before Christmas. We had such an incredible response to our summer camp that we’ve decided to bring the camp back during Christmas break to offer more than just childcare for kids and parents.”

The Halifax holiday day camps will include individualized academics, crafts, science experiments, and Christmas activities jammed into a day of fun. Students are asked to bring their lunch for each day they attend, and snacks will be provided.

The camps will run from 9 am - 4 pm, and the cost is $50 per day. Camp is open to any child 4-12 years of age.

Space is limited, so parents must register for the camp by Friday, December 9. The Halifax holiday day camp will be offered at two locations in the HRM, based on interest and availability.
