Microlease to Support Discovering Start-Ups

The contest provides ambitious new tech start-ups, inventors and budding entrepreneurs in the industry with the opportunity to pitch to leading venture capitalists, angels and industry investors. Representatives from leading industry names including Microsoft, RIM, Nokia, Vodafone Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Innovacom, Broadcom, Orange and ARM will evaluate the entries and provide expert advice and feedback.

The most successful entrants, to be announced at the Cambridge Wireless prestigious Founders' Dinner Awards Ceremony on 8 December, will be awarded cash prizes as well as free business and consultancy services.

“We got great feedback from world class investors and industry leaders on our mobile apps business model and it opened several doors for us to promote our latest app Free App Magic worldwide,” said Emmanuel Carraud, CEO of MagicSolver, one of the winners of Discovering Start-Ups 2010.
