Winter Pop Up Art Shop returns to Metquarter for Christmas
To celebrate the festive season, dot-art will be once again opening their Pop Up Art Shop at the Metquarter, from 8th-18th December, giving the public a fantastic opportunity to buy unique, locally produced art work and prints.
Lucy Byrne from dot-art said, “The Pop up Art shops have been a huge success in 2011, and we are delighted to return in December with another group of hugely talented artists. I hope we can provide some inspiration to everyone struggling with their Christmas shopping, encourage people to buy something a bit different this year- and support local artists at the same time!”
Artwork to suit all tastes and pockets will be on display by over 20 artists, from limited edition prints from just £20, to large scale original paintings. Highlights include: Helene Gilmore's light-hearted new series of “Cupcake” paintings, stunning oils by Cheshire artist Andrew Kinmont who was recently selected for exhibition at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, the highly sought after wildlife sculpture of Tony Evans and a wide range of locally themed limited edition prints.
The Pop-Up Art Shop is situated on the upper level of the Metquarter, next to Timberland.
