Nov. 18, 2011 - PRLog -- Autodesk User Group International (AUGI) and Global e-Training (GeT) today announced they are joining forces to offer Autodesk product e-Training to all AUGI members with Global e-Training becoming the AUGI Official Training Partner.  This partnership brings together the world’s largest community of Autodesk users and a world leader in online Autodesk training.

AUGI members will have access to free content and discounted purchasing opportunities for Global e-Training’s GeT Interactive; Online On-demand Autodesk training.  GeT Interactive combines interactive text, audio, video, hands-on exercises, and immediate feedback to train everyone from new users to experienced hands. GeT Interactive Autodesk courses can be used as stand-alone guided courses, searchable reference tools, “here’s what’s new” upgrade tutorials, certification exam prep, complementary classroom and peer-led instruction aids. Global e-Training’s GeT Live Virtual Classrooms will also be available to AUGI members as participants or even producers.

A survey of AUGI members in the summer of 2011 indicated more than 75% saw a need for e-Training either personally or within their workplaces, and more than 80% of those expressing a preference for a self-paced, on-demand format that accommodates all learning styles.  The GeT Interactive delivery system matches this learning preference. “The GeT methodology picks up where the traditional AUGI peer to peer education ends. You want help with an immediate problem, you use the forums. But if you want A to Z training on using an Autodesk application, you need a real training solution.” says David Harrington, AUGI President.

The new partnership’s first public event will be Autodesk University 2011, November 29 - December 1 in Las Vegas, the world’s largest gathering of Autodesk users and developers. As a Gold Sponsor, Global e-Training and Partners will be promoting e-Training together with AUGI.

Global e-Training’s GeT Interactive lineup includes courses in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit Architecture, Autodesk Revit MEP, Autodesk Revit Structure, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD Civil 3D software.  Training solutions range from individual course purchases to library, license and multi-user models.
