TOKYO, Japan (November 8, 2011) - Economist Conferences, one of the world’s leading event providers and part of the Economist Group, has selected Wahl & Case as an official Associate Sponsor of the Japan Summit 2011. The premier event on Japan’s political, business and social future will be held on December 12th, 2011 at the Hotel Okura in Tokyo, and is expected to attract the top minds in Japan in business, policy, and academia to discuss and debate the steps Japan needs to take to maintain its place in the world.

According to the Economist Group, the Japan Summit will bring together experts from Japan and abroad to debate areas where Japan could change for the better, and how it should develop the political leadership to do so. It will look at the energy sector, the growing economic and political rivalry between Tokyo and other economic regions such as Osaka and Nagoya, and assess the risks and opportunities for Japanese businesses as they expand globally.
