The Answer to "Who is the uPUBLIC"

Nov. 15, 2011 - PRLog -- The uPUBLIC is a content creator dedicated to the idea of quality, local projects that are community based. We are the “Rock this Restaurant” people and the folks that brought uROCK Albuquerque to the CW. We utilize multiple distribution methods to promote our projects and productions... both online and broadcast via television.

The online home of the uPUBLIC is http://upublic.tv which has been recently republished. DVD's of Rock this Restaurant are currently available while partial samples of our other productions are accessible through the website – hosted on YouTube.

We wanted to reach out to the media and public communicating our desire to grow our library of community-based, interactive projects. We welcome further inquiries from other members of media... hiding in plain sight.

About uPUBLIC:
We support the indie film making community because we believe that indie producers can help produce content that makes our communities better. We support local film makers by filling in the gaps for indie productions. We have resources that take concepts to finished product.  Additionally, our goal is to help indie crews build their fan base so that they can continue to create shows that add value to the community. Our projects involve community and economic development. We train students, support local non-profits and worthwhile causes, while delivering a tangible message. In our view empowering the production of localized shows that are educational, informative and most importantly entertaining is the best way.
