Classic Card - Four circle card that collects up to 500 μl specimen or 100 μl plant homogenate per card. Each circle is 1 inch in diameter and will hold around 125 μl of whole blood sample or 25 μl plant homogenate. The Classic Card is excellent for multiple sample collection of the same specimen or collection of multiple samples on a single card. Its design with a fold over cover helps to protect the specimen area before and after the sample collection.

Gene Card - Three circle cassette style card that collects up to 225 μl specimen or 30 μl plant homogenate. Each circle is ~ 2/3 inch in diameter an will hold around 75 μl of whole blood or 10 μl plant homogenate. This style of card is typically used in automated settings. The Gene Card format uses a heavy card stock that surrounds the unique specimen paper and enhances the tensile strength of the entire card.

Mini Card - Two circle card that collects up to 250 μl specimen or 50 μl plant homogenate per card. Each circle is 1 inch in diameter and will hold around 125 μl of whole blood sample or 25 μl plant homogenate per circle. Its design with a fold over cover helps to protect the specimen area before and after the sample collection.

TWYN Card - Two circle card that collects up to 250 μl specimen or 50 μl plant homogenate per card. Each circle is 1 inch in diameter and will hold around 125 μl of whole blood sample or 25 μl plant homogenate per circle. The TWYN Card is unique to Fitzco because it has a cover that folds to the side instead of up and is a larger card, despite having the two circle format.

Micro Card - One circle card that collects up to 125 μl specimen or 25 μl plant homogenate per card. Each circle is 1 inch in diameter. The Micro Card format uses a heavy card stock that surrounds the collection area and gives the card rigidity for specimen collection and processing. Card is designed with a fold over cover that helps protect the specimen area before and after the sample collection.

Sampact Card - The Sampact card format uses a heavy card stock that surrounds the collection area, which is shaped to fit foam swabs. This heavy card stock gives the card rigidity for specimen collection and processing. The Sampact Card fits perfectly into our Sampact Cartridge, which is ideal for buccal cell sample collection. Only available in indicating.

705 Specimen Cards utilize FP705 paper, which is a unique biological grade collection paper that enhances specimen collection. Collected samples will not run or defuse into the paper. Fitzco has used this grade of paper since 1991 for nucleic acid preservation at both ambient and frozen temperatures. Specimens collected on this grade of paper over 30 years ago have been tested and have excellent yield retention. FP705 is guaranteed to be a dependable composition that maintains a constant thickness, flow rate and absorbency. When converted into a card format it is an easy and simple collection device. FP705 is the platform for the Ensemble Collection System which includes the 705 & 705i indicating cards.
