| ![]() Fast Track Acquisitions Asks: Has The X Factor Lost Its Shine?Associates at Fast Track Acquisitions are well-known for their love of The X Factor but has the loss of Simon Cowell meant that the show has lost it's shining star?
By: PressGlobal As the show’s head judge since 2004; Simon Cowell’s absence has been felt by the UK audience. It's three new judges; Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa have been battling to save this year’s ratings after being told by Simon to shape up. Furthermore The X Factor has been lagging behind Strictly Come Dancing in ratings over recent weeks and Noel Gallagher also hit out at the show recently saying it’s ‘’no good’’ since the departure of Cowell. Fast Track Acquisitions has seen another noticeable change with this year’s X Factor, the lack of novelty acts. Although Louis Walsh made a clear effort to mould Jonny Robinson into a novelty act with his outrageous outfits and over-the top dancers; there is no obvious joke performer with little singing talent surviving purely on charisma and humorous routines. The 2010 series saw Wagner fill the vacancy and Jedward were a resounding success the year before; the so called ‘joke’ performers were a huge part of the show. A spokesperson for Fast Track Acquisitions said, "We still enjoy The X Factor even if it’s not as funny as it has been in previous years, we feel that Gary and Kelly have done a great job but Louis is getting a tired act." Fast Track Acquisitions also point out "It is incredibly important to keep the show fresh, we feel the same way about our business, it keeps people interested and forces you out of your comfort zone. Simon was absolutely right to change things us, however we do feel that the show would have been even better if he had remained on the panel as well. Then he could have ensured that the experience was there whilst also having the fresh faces of Gary and Kelly. At Fast Track Acquisitions we love to work with a team that has experience and new ideas, it's a winning combination." Will Simon Cowell change things up once again mid-series to boost ratings? Fast Track Acquisitions wouldn't put it past him. # # # Fast Track Acquisitions is an sales, marketing and promotional event company that specialises in providing outsource solutions to clients in the construction, telecommunications and energy industries.
