Bougie Magazine Launches Their Inaugural Issue-"The Evolution"

Nov. 8, 2011 - PRLog -- Bougie is a digital publication written for the intelligent, tech savvy, fashion forward woman, who is applauded and envied for being bold, beautiful and willing to step out the box and be very aware of who she is and what she wants!

Conceived as a labor-of-love by founder/publisher Angela Reed, Bougie Magazine’s focus will be on current fashion and emerging designers from all over the world. Reed wanted to create a trendy website that included empowering and insightful articles that are sexy, hip, and relevant, to everyone whether they were into fashion or not.

Within their issues, they aim to provide their audience with everything they need to know about living the “Bougie Life”.  Regular sections include Hair, Beauty, Lifestyle, Travel, Fashion, Designer and Artist Features. In addition, they have a section specifically dedicated to current events and community affairs.

"Since this is the first official issue of Bougie I wanted to have a theme that captures the true essence of what Bougie really means. I wanted articles on things and experiences everyone could relate to." Because we know the process of evolving is not gender bias, we decided to tap into the lives of the “bougie male” so there’s something for everyone in this issue" said Reed.  

The handsome Sam Sarpong, the first African American male model to land a campaign with Louis Vuitton graces their 1st cover. The talented Jenine Cotrice Addison contestants on the new reality show "Project Accessory" are just a few of the feature articles in the first issue of Bougie.
